You should check the comments previous to yours, there was someone that had the same problem as you.
The TL;DR is to make sure you have no other mods affecting the CS weapons (especially skins that aren't the ones in this mod or gameplay mods that aren't a varient of FFHRRM.)
If you have the time for it you could check my post on the main FFHRRM page about editing CS skin mods and just do it on your copy of FFHRRM, changing the script for the mp5 instead of deleting it (scripts > weapon_smg_mpg > Change the line called "BuiltRightHanded" to either 0 or 1, the opposite of what its set to at the moment.)
I think you're a bit confused.
Free mods for a game you do not own are not something you need permission to use/repackage/edit/whatever.
Sure, I would be a massive dick if I took work that wasn't mine and tried to claim that it is, but that is not what I have done: Each mod I have repackaged I have also credited, posted links and urged people to view and rate the original mods.
So you can rest easy dude ^^
Thats very weird, and yeah I and nobody i know or commented has had this problem : /
Ill look into it some more to try see what its going on, but im inclined to put it down to L4D2's weird coding which results in a few totally unexplained bugs, especially with mods, which have nothing to do with the mods themselves ^^
Anyway, sorry I couldn't help.
I am fairly certain that there are no mods affecting the mp5 script, and I did invert "BuiltRightHanded," but to no avail. I would just invert the model, but unfortunately I do not have the experience nor the means to do so.
I, personally, am not too bothered by it. I just thought I would bring it to your attention in case anyone else was having the same problem. Then again, if they were, they would have commented already, hmm?
Sorry to have bothered you. Thank you.
I take it you checked absoloutely nothing was changing the weapon_smg_mp5 weapon script? Thats the only main reason for your problem i can think of...
If your still having the problem i could try making a left-handed compatability mod. Or you could check my post on the main FFHRRM page about editing CS skin mods and just do it on your copy of FFHRRM, changing the script for the mp5 instead of deleting it (scripts > weapon_smg_mpg > Change the line called "BuiltRightHanded" to either 0 or 1, the opposite of what its set to at the moment)
Hope this helps.
I have re-uploaded the mod just in-case i forgot to update something. But I have tested this mod extensivly and have had no issues with it.
Hopefully this fixes your problem. If not feel free to poke me again and we will see if there is anything else I can do.
