Who does controls the criminal underworld of Moscow? What sort of a shooting have happened 3 months prior to the plot of "The Cold One"? The new chapter, "The Unexpected", is a short but action-packed tale about the new faces of the conflict, which will continue on in an upcoming campaign "True Russian Dream".

October of 2003.

Evgeny Kotin, or "Boxer", who was reported missing years ago, suddenly appears in Moscow after 10 years of absence. He was spotted on the cameras of the "Grafstvo" gentleman club by employees of Yury Sokolov's "security detail": Gleb Pochenkin and Anton Zmeev. Sokolov demands them to find Evgeny and take him out of the danger.

Back in that day the guard of the club was the crew of Valeriy "The Ace". Without further ado, his men didn't let Evgeny inside. An escalation of conflict was seen on the cameras, so Gleb and Anton depart to the club immediately to take "Boxer" in. Further events will affect the underworld greatly...

love the sprite work, especially the faces. though some of your furniture is nearly the same shade of brown as the floor, making it easy to get stuck on them. also, chainsaw dodgers are a little overused on the floors. one of the floors (third i think?) has two chainsaw dodgers blocking the way to the ONE guy with a melee weapon. meaning it's nigh impossible to complete the floor if you dont bring a melee weapon from the previous floor.

cool sprites but the enemies blend in too much with the background, had a hard time seeing and recognizing them

While the visuals are the main driving force for this campaign, I cannot say the same for some aspects of the gameplay. Placing dodgers behind inaccessible areas that require you to use only one weapon capable of removing such barriers is bad design and stops flow.
