The Sol system

the only solar system known to harbor sapient organisms in the universe.

The Sol System (otherwise known as the solar system) has 8 primary planets, several dwarf planets, large amounts of resource rich asteroids, & an unknown 9th exo-planet in the Kuiper Belt.


Compatibility
This is compatible with the Water Mod and Industrial Overhaul. These are NOT REQUIRED to run this map

If you are looking for compatibility with Real Orbits, please go to Version 4; The newer version of this map, which includes 27 predefined asteroids from the ATA Solar System Mod and refined planet placement. This version is no longer being supported.

I made this map because all of the solar systems that I've seen are either really small or gargantuan (some even to scale,) so I decided to make one that would be semi-realistic; to allow you to explore but also somewhat jump around the map to some degree


I highly recommend an extended jump drive or a higher speed cap mod so that you don't die in your chair.

Feedback is welcome. If you have any suggestions or problems please let me know.

I loaded the game for the first time, then edited the save and added industrial overhaul and I can't find any ore from this mod

this is the neatest world ive seen so far. Great work!

Honestly if SE could ever be optimized and modified for a more MMO feel, i think this would be the world to use. Great potential in making colonies and faction space.

@Sadavir Errinwright Please god do not make Eros move, that would break the game. But I guess the Protomolecule kinda does that
