Deedee too? (can't see it on the list)
[Designation: 2014 UZ224]
Honestly if SE could ever be optimized and modified for a more MMO feel, i think this would be the world to use. Great potential in making colonies and faction space.
@ScottyJ Thanks man! I completely forgot that that mod existed. Going to add it into the collection. I hope you enjoy, there may be more solar systems in the future for you to explore too
@vtopcon and @Cion Distan Yes there is. You can look at the ATA Stars Mod page for more info on the specific compositions of the planets and moons
@Sir Doggy Jvla The asteroids I've marked are just major ones across the map. The least dense option was picked for the regular procedural asteroids.
stupid question but do the planets have different resources or sizes of the veins?
If I use this in a Youtube series I will lavish much credit upon your name and link you in!
1) The world size is infinite, and the asteroid generation is set to the lowest setting possible for vanilla. The ones I have added are either moons or the asteroids provided by the ATA Solar System mod, based on real life asteroids with those names, notable 432 Eros.
2) The asteroids I've listed are just notable ones, specifically for more variety than just planets.
3) The Very large ones, Haumea, Eris, and Makemake are moons just spawned in and marked, so they have all the resources of a regular moon in Space Engineers. The other ones all have true to life shapes. Their size varies, and the list is going to grow substantially in a few hours or tomorrow. I'd equate them to around the size of the base game asteroids, but this wholly depends on which one you go to.
4) I have no idea if they have minerals or not.
5) Like base game, none of the asteroids move as voxels do not move in Space Engineers.
@LeeTheFlea The asteroids are at the lowest generation setting to decrease clutter and allow for safer transits between planets, but collisions do still happen; albeit very rarely (surprisingly)
@DlriumTrgger I tried to see if realistic atmospheres would work with this, but it unfortunately caused texture glitches on some of the planets
All you and anyone else who sees this, please keep in mind that I am working on compatibility for Real Orbits and Industrial Overhaul. I have finished revamping the map, just need to get the new GPS coordinates, tables, and modlists up. Should be out by today or at most tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy the map!
This is great by the way. Thanks for putting it together.
maybe see if that newer realistic atmospheres could be implemented?
