I found a number of people in the community were irritated by the way System interrupted the flow of scenes, with the option to skip them.

This mod replaces these interruptions with a button, placed unobtrusively on the left side of the screen. This mod should work for every skip scene matching the format of base-game skips scenes -- even in mods.

For technical reasons, it is unreasonably difficult to remove System's beep and the restarting of the music. But removing the menu and System's little speech already represents a major improvement to immersion while replaying scenes.
