The nightmare is about this impossible feeling town, it's dark out and there is nothing but boxy houses like the ones you see here in my country. There's no one out there, no people, no animals, no ambient noise, just me. The houses with lights on that I can see have this yellow wallpaper and they look very old, broken... with withered furniture in the visible rooms all layered in dust, and cobwebs....There's this feeling of being watched, an overwhelming pressure of a piercing stare, and the silence, it's so quiet that you can hear the pumping of your heart and the vibrations from your body at every step. It's always nighttime, the yellowed room houses all look more damaged than the others, their windows don't have curtains where they should, instead they are three meters within the rooms, looming over the room like an oversized shower curtain. The curtains have these drawings on them, ones older houses in the rural areas have...the sense of danger they put off kept me far away from them, something in me knew what was behind those curtains, the dead, innocents, being tortured and killed. There's random drawings in the streets, none of them make sense, just random arrows pointing to nowhere...throughout the dream, I saw no one, I shouted and searched for help but every home I came across was locked tight, with no sign of anyone being within, no cars, sounds, nothing. Eventually I was able to get inside one of the houses...I felt warm, yet wet and dry at the same time, I don't know how to explain it...As I moved through the home I realized the inside did not make sense, rooms that don't belong, doors that go to nowhere, doors locked tight, there were hallways made of wood, some with nothing but that yellow wallpaper.

There were a few masks laying around on occasion, and I'd hear random noises, like metal hitting metal. But at the end there was a statue, the Virgin Mary, and as I reached it...My own body molt in the spot. Then I woke up, with that same feeling of being watched, and when I turned on my light, it was gone.
