That's really strange. I just tried it myself and I couldn't place the blueprint in a zoo either – it gives me a "terrain modification failed" error. So it looks like there's some issue with the terrain, though I'm not sure how to fix it either.
I've uploaded the zoo where I originally built the structure (GBC - The German Breeding Centre)
Maybe you could open that file, save the individual parts of the building as separate blueprints, and then reassemble them in your own zoo? It's definitely a bit of work, but probably the best workaround for now.
I've also uploaded the hall itself as a standalone blueprint, just in case that helps:
