Description
BACKGROUND
SAAP, the (fictional) Swedish manufacturer, has been making quirky automobiles since 1944. The SAAP Roamer I is a bare-bones, utilitarian, SUV produced during WW2. After the war, the surplus military stock quickly won the hearts and minds of farmers, tradesmen and others in need of a cheap, reliable and durable 4x4. Officially produced as a civilian vehicle in 1955, the SAAP Roamer I has been seen as an icon of the working class, until the SAAP Roamer II was released in 1973. The SAAP Roamer I is narrow, short and tall. It can perform extreme off-roading, can climb and traverse landscapes with inclinations of over 75 degrees, and operate in deep water, as long as the snorkel is not submerged. As usual, SAAP vehicles are quirky in nature, and the body shape is both streamlined and bulky, traditional to all classic SAAP designs.

Here would be "my" version of your car. I made it bigger mostly due to be more wind resistant and add a medical bed.

I really like this car. I used it as a basis for my sar jeep.
I combined this with the ZE 8 Gear drive controller and sized it up a bit.
