the xml file has an error on line 317 with missing quotes (") - or at least it had for me; it might've happened while testing.
Anyways I split all the traits in their own file to see, which one made the traits not work, and nooow they work xD
might've been in the various body traits not pickable in the trait picker, or something else entirely.

has anyone figured out why only the spirit roots work? the xml file seems to be correct

The traits aside from spirit roots doesn't work.
