The NostOS Race

The NostOS are a mysterious race of scientific robots of unknown origin; who made them or why is unknown, even to them. While they have similarities to the Glitch, it is safe to say that they have little connection as their design is a lot more modern rather than industrial. They wander the galaxy trying to discover its many secrets, collecting insane amounts of data along the way. However, with no society or even large settlements, they haven't really gotten very far as a species overall, but individual knowledge is immense. They have been around as long as people can remember, yet with no ancient ruins unique to them for some odd reason.

Many of them join society as scientists and engineers, putting their skills to use to help another civilizations progress. However, most live as nomads, moving from place to place as the potential data gain starts to dry up. These nomads follow where the data leads them, often coming up with bizarre hypotheses seemingly unsupported by those who don't have their vast quantities of data. Always trying to find the most out of any place or topic they come across, sometimes to an unhealthy extreme...

-While many NostOS are more logical, many can be a bit more immature when inexperienced. The reasons for this are not known, but many are affected by it.

-While their old society is mostly unknown, the echoes of it can be seen. In their designs, symbols, and vastly stronger technology.

-The NostOS have an incredible fascination with Ancient ruins, many seek them out in a wild goosechase. Those who do find them can stay there for life.

-They may seem to be similar to one of the members of Daft Punk, most of the inspiration was from the Korvax from No Man's Sky.





There will potentially be an FU Stats and BYOS patch in the future.
However, it should be compatible with FU. Let me know if that's not the case.
