I have Hot Keyed everything that you will need just check it out before you Jump, also Hot key 1 is set for reverse engines to slow down and can gradually set down.
There is a work platform underneath the radiator panels and accessed through the science lab.

Was thinking about updating the Grasshopper to include wheels so you can turn the ship when landed and re-angle to the way you want to launch next but with the wheels in stock game it is really awkward since one will be to small then the biggest wheels make it look more crazy than it already is and add a lot of weight to re-adjust for when launching.
