[MCF] "Defender" Fighter Mk5

The MN-06C was designed by senior engineer Mark Fisk in the year 2112. The primary design requirement was the same as its earlier predecessor, the MN-05B (2112), it had to fit through a standard gate door and dock in as small of a hangar as possible.

For a variety of reasons, the MN-06C trades the dual quad missile pods for twin autocannons. Chiefly, the missiles needed to be hand-loaded, whereas the autocannons can resupply from the connectors. Additional ammunition capacity has been added to support the autocannons.

The Defender excels where its name implies, in defending other ships and/or installations. It is fast to accelerate in every direction, devastating at close range, and to top it all off, it can be flown remotely.
