(F) S.S.H Wasp Ultralight Fighter

The Wasp ultralight was Safe Solar Holdings answer to cost overruns during the other fighter programs. This small craft is commonly seen darting around stations, where it would be a waste to have any of the more expensive craft stationed.

Armaments:
6 Gatling guns.
2 Rocket pods.

While the wasp is most commonly seen around Safe Solar Holdings spaceports, enormous swarms of these craft have been used in open conflict due to their low cost and disposable nature. Good pilots are better served piloting other craft, so penal soldiers exclusively fly on these suicidal charges. Usually dissenters or POW's these soldiers are given a chance to redeem themselves in the eyes of the company. Upon the completion of 5 successful missions, the pilots are awarded their freedom. The survival rate of these pilots is about 15%. This means that 1 in every 1428 pilots flies their way out of life in a prison chain-gang. Very generous of the company!
