Zizo Natural Disaster Announcements [+ Radio]

Description
With this addon enabled, you'll finally be warned properly in case of any natural disaster occurring, not just evacuating mission disasters anymore.

Features:
  • Spawns a marker on the map (same duration as the alarm sirens)
  • Sends you a notification whenever a new natural disaster is occurring.
  • Broadcasts via radio from the disaster location.
  • All above features can be toggled in the addon settings.

Is it possible to extend the radio distance for the tsunami? If you're too far from a tsunami, you don't get the warning. Maybe the distance could be calculated by the radius of the tsunami somehow.

would be cool if you could manually change the sizes of the natural disasters, i think there should be a mod for that.

So, sometimes you don't get alerted to certain events such as tsunamis due to the center being too far for the radio.

Something that would be interesting, is if there could be a new version of this, but made as a game modification leveraging the new modding support which could potentially provide more flexibility and allow the system to work from across the map.

It's working now.

I went and programmed a warning panel to show data from this addon, however after connecting a real antenna and spawning a few disasters, nothing was detected by the antenna. I checked that the antenna was actually set to the correct frequency.

I also tested the example, and that's not working either. I didn't touch any of the addon's settings, so it should be working. I know the addon itself is enabled and working, because I'm getting the markers and notifications from it.

On further inspection, it appears the default radio channel is 4001, which is not what the documentation says.
