Description
Built between 1916 and 1920 by Altoona Locomotive Works, The Pennsylvania Railroad's class B6 was its most successful class of switcher, or as the PRR termed them, "shifter". Out of the total 238 B6sbs produced only 2 survive today, B6sb #1670 was saved in the PRR's historic collection at Northumberland, Pennsylvania and was donated to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and is what I model this quickmod off of. B6sa #60 is on a siding in Hockessin, Delaware, along the Wilmington and Western Railroad. It has a larger tender, from a 2-8-0 Consolidation, but it is intact, albeit in poor condition. In 2019–2020, it was donated to the Historic Red Clay Valley Inc., and the locomotive remains on a siding near Mt. Cuba.

Hey!
This is the second locomotive added to my PRR locomotive and rolling stock pack. I actually made this one a few months before I started the L1 (around October 2021) and it's been sitting in storage pretty much finished while I waited for the modding update. I could have gotten it out waaaay before the L1 but I decided to remake the wheels because I wasn't at all happy with how they turned out. I think the model is now at a state where I'm confident enough to share it with the community! I have a few things lined up next that are almost* ready for release, so stay tuned!

I'd also like to take a second to thank everyone for the positive feedback on the L1! Your overwhelming support means a lot and it's what makes these mods possible, thank you!

Cheers!

the B6 needs to be completely overhauled, there are so many things wrong with it due to it being my first model lol. the A5 is sorta the same story, i probably looked over it since i was using the real 94 as reference which is missing a lot of it's parts.

would i be aloud to ask why the B6 and A5 do not have piston jacketing?
