Five Minutes At Freddy's (BETA)

Description
Trapped in a pizzeria's office, RED team must defend their control point for five minutes while the murderous BLU team attempts to invade! While RED can't physically leave their two-room fortress, they have a variety of tools at their disposal to thwart the attacks of BLU. RED team respawns much slower than BLU, so communication and planning is VITAL for RED team! Can you survive just five minutes in this nightmarish pizzeria?

- BLU team animatronics can invade the office through six entrances: a large Main Hall, two Side Vents, two Windowed Vents, and a terrifying Dark Vent positioned directly behind RED spawn. Also included in RED spawn is a monitor that displays a portion of the right hall!

- RED team can use a series of doors (green button: open, red button: close) to prevent intruders from entering through the Main and Side entrances, but be warned: using a door for too long will cause it to malfunction! Each door can stay shut for a maximum of two minutes, so close doors wisely!

- BLU team can sneak through windowed tunnels above BLU's main room once three minutes pass, but RED can zap them back to hell using the yellow-and-black hallway buttons! Be prudent about your zapping, however, as each button can only be used 5 times!

- RED team has no resupply locker, but has plenty of health and ammo packs to last the night.

---WARNING---

This map is still in the early stages of development! It's functional, but it's not exactly polished (mostly because I don't know how to import custom models and textures ._. )

---SERVER REQUIREMENTS---

This map is extremely dark, so the use of the Source engine's flashlight is required. To enable the flashlight, the server's owner must set mp_flashlight to 1. It's also recommended that you set r_flashlightfar to 1500.

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

I added a monitor that records the right hall like two days ago! It seems as though the map breaks if more than one monitor or camera is operational though, so unless I want to enlist the help of a coder, the camera will be sort of a neat addition and nothing more. I'm glad you're still thinking of this project, though!!

Not sure if you're still planning on updating this, but VScript just came out as a beta for tf2, and func_monitor (which is now fixed in the Vscript version) would be perfect for this. Not telling you to do it right now, but it'd be a good option for cameras.

i think it would be fun but i cant play it. you see i cant play games that dont tell the workshop map like for an exsample if a map tells me the join in workshop thing i can copy and paste it but if it doesnt show that then i cant play it all of a sudden but it could still be fun

I appreciate the feedback! Adding an indicator for the vent doors is a great idea, especially for the players that choose to play with bots and don’t have teammates to call out information. I tried to add cameras that players could access while they’re alive, but apparently that only works in HL :(

also the flashlight doesn't work for me but that's not exactly something you can fix

Really good map. however, it would be nice if there were windows or cameras in order to see the players coming, especially since there's no indicator if the vent doors are closed or not.

You're a genius and I love you. I had no idea that existed. Yes, you absolutely can do a 12v1, just make sure to put nav_mark_walkable markers in every entrance to the office.

no i mean like use nav_generate so they have pathfinding you can do that on any map
