Description
BRIEFING: This is it. Ibn-Ajab has given us the location of the Children of the true faith’s (COTF) hideout in exchange for avoiding the death penalty. They had been under our noses the whole time, holed up in an old abandoned fort in [redacted] mountains. They fixed that old relic up and even got their own power supply. Satellite imaging and drone footage show that they even have a functioning garage that is working around the cloak to pump out VBIEDs and armoured technicals. They seem to know that their time is nearly up and are pooling all their resources for a prolonged siege. We can’t let them dig their heels in. We mobilise tonight at 2000 hrs for a night raid. It is going to be a hard fight despite our natural superiority in the night. If it were up to me, I would have preferred a slow and methodically prepared assaut with an entire battalion and air support. But the top brass wants this mess swept up before the COTF disappear back in the shadows or worse, rally behind a new messiah. As much as it pains me to say it, I must agree. COTF has proven time and again that they are ruthless and resourceful and have the backing of the Chinese underworld. So we need to hit them hard now that they are reeling from the blow we struck them. Go over you mission dossier carefully and then we will go over the drawing board.

INTEL: The fortress is well fortified with a deep moat. The only way across to the fort is through a narrow bridge which has been heavily fortified. The walls of the fort itself has been reinforced with heavy sandbags and makeshift redoubts. Two massive searchlights have been installed that light up the bridge. Although the forts south side is heavily guarded, preliminary scouting have shown that the northern end of the fort is mostly ignored. The steep cliffs make a natural barrier so COTF must have thought it unnecessary to fortify the area. If need be, we can have men lowered into the northern bank along with all the necessary gear. We cannot risk being spotted in the cliffs so no more than two operatives should rappel down the cliff side. However, once committed, the operatives on the northern bank will not get any immediate support from the rest of the team and if things go sour, they will be isolated.

Ibn-Ajab has also revealed that the fort has a sally port in the north eastern corner of the fort, hidden behind foliage. It could prove a way to enter the fort discreetly.

The power junction is past the northern courtyard, right next to the north western tower. Be warned, if the alarm is sounded the backup generators will start up under ten seconds. So either kill the power without raising the alarm, or before the generators kicks in. Or else it will be a lot harder to clear the interior of the fort.

The CIA has also offered to help with the operation. Two of their operatives have managed to infiltrate the fort and could prove useful in undermining the enemy’s defences.
INFIL: Full frontal 8 men assault through the south western dirt road. Two men operative can be dropped in the northern end of the river via the cliff. Two secret operatives can be called upon in the enemy compound.

I also sent 2 guys with mp5sd from the back but ended up clearing the right side of the map with them lol awesome map took me a bunch of tries ngl

hey bro i'm so glad you exist! this serie was dope, every perfect detail in maps and the briefing was so fucking good man, please dont stop making missions like theses.
ps: the only thing that could be better is the time of the raid you set on briefing, you could change to 0400 aprox. to meet with a real ops specially when you gotta raid a fucking castle full of bad guys, at 2000 you gonna get them all awake and fine for a fight, but if you raid at 0400 you catch them sleeping and tired besides it has a better psychological effect too, but the rest is perfect

well i sent two guys with mp5sd to the back and their main objective is to kill the power, afterwards, the real funs begin at the front and it was so much fun to see the chaos unfold and i was also suprise i got a clean run from all of that

@lowah Glad to hear. I tried to make the map a lot more like splinter cell, where the frontal assault is way harder than the sneaky sneaky method. Hehe...thanks for the feedback.

at first i really did not like this map but when i gave it a second try it was both extremely fun and immersive once i try out some newer tactics and i can say i really like this map A LOT
