Description
:::)
Everything is hidden if you aren't curious.
(:::

Platform around in this highly inter connected, movement fitted level layout. KICK SOMEONE OUT INTO SPACE!! (if you want... they dont think to attack you until mistaking you by your outfit as someone from the bad crowd)

try to hijack a ufo? stay in your home and never explore whats beyond your simulated idea of a world?

A brief overview of the scenario:
The simulation you've been living in has been shattered. You're seemingly isolated in space with no sense of where to go or whats out there. A control deck, previously safe to observe the interstellar-material-collection-butterfly-net and your "home", now broken open by a UFO has exposed characters resembling slave traders.
ascend the stairs to a wizard guy, see everything as if it could be anything else...

You don't have to kill anyone

The priority of making the map was to produce proof of concept examples for movement and weighing environmental advantages, showing distinct movement choices from areas one can be cornered into, movement synchronization with level design, hidden routes in uncleared angles, etc. everything else was a cannon-excuse to have them present.

!** . challenges. **i

1.Can you make it to the friendly astronaut without alerting over lookers? (requires restart, probably)
If you're spotted he'll be lost to time, but at what time? Sometimes the same time. (intentional glitch)

2.You can find the hidden apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but its up for grabs if you can find it. (discovered acceleration mechanic)

3.Can you find the secret room? were you too dizzy when you passed it? How could a weapon help your journey when there isn't an enemy infront of you? (a hint for #5 also)

5.And YES! You can hitch a ride!

** **

*game play note if having trouble finding the exit*
Walking vs jumping into the first teleport entry changes the exit.

the vid "everything about logic in paint the town red" by kersher is an awesome reference. the same way you pair an object to a logic path is the same way to connect it to text. pro tip, if you group together all the primitives of a structure you want moving then you only need to connect the logic node to a single primitive in the grouped stuff and it will all move together, otherwise you have to place a node for each individual piece and line up individual paths for each piece at the same speed/distance or the parts separate. there was a magic number for the speed where i got an airplane to be flyable by the player on another of my maps idr instead of immediately being kicked off.

how do you tie a logic nodes on text
sAmE_SaMe  [author] 25 Mar @ 3:17pm
@MaitreMoulax (pt1)hi. "shardlord..." happens by default when that character model is startled, though you can put logic nodes on text boxes to make them pop up places off trigger zones.
heh, this is a representation of an avatar living in a home with the view around you under complete control, as if a theater set or an experiment of synthetic values from; seeing neighboring houses, foreign plants to garden, seeing other planets or clouded skies or... nothing, all while floating out in this dimensions outer space... and another dimension as well. there is what was meant to look like a giant butterfly net that caught a lot of "props" or small planets and space ships, only to be discovered after being drawn to follow a hovering craft above your back lawn.

(pt2)you run through your house to your front garden to see the synthetic sky and walls containing you having been crashed through by another similar looking aircraft. you travel utility corridors to find (maybe a secret room) and a giant machine with arms to pick up the space debris caught in the nearby space-butterfly-net and position them like scenery props around your house. an observation deck watches on more anxiously as the recent "catch" from the upper floor has broken open, allowing your only opportunity to escape this structure. but what holds up this depiction of your avatars reality? if you are to find out "by any means", does that include exploring means unknown to you? (there's a gravity suspended stairwell you can access that's to the side of the observation decks windowed area.)
