Description

A medium difficulty laser and funnel puzzle.

Welcome to my first map of 2022! This puzzle continues a trend of remakes that I have been doing for over a year now - this time, the final puzzle of Initiative is the one that got a revamp. The solution is much more elegant now, and takes much more advantage of the laser than before.

Note: The green fizzler used in the puzzle is a Physics Repulsion Field. This fizzler will block cubes from passing through, but not the player; also, portals can be shot through it.

A very special thanks to Teo for playtesting, his advice, and his feedback - seriously, this puzzle would not be the way it is now without his help! The music used was composed by the amazing Mikeastro.

Looks like I did have the moxie! I tried this map a while ago, but didn't really click. Tried it again today, and wow that's really cool! The subtlety of the exit area is so good. Having the only difference between the initial spawn and re-spawn is the cube being in the funnel source is brilliant.

My only complaint is the exploit of putting the cube on the funnel area ledge is a bit too easy to preform. I wish it had more prevention, although I understood it wasn't intended. Overall this was baller, faved!

Fantastic Puzzle Asears. I got back to the entrance , but wasn't sure how that helped me, until I saw I was able to do the one thing I wasn't able to do before regarding the cube location
