Armed with cybernetic legs, flame magic and a mighty katana, Bernard comes out of retirement to battle in Smack Studio! He's not the fastest fighter but he excels at controlling space with huge damaging hitboxes.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Fireball
A straightforward projectile. Use it to pressure your opponent into the sky where you can catch them with Forward air!

SIDE SPECIAL: High Draw
Bernard readies himself before slashing upwards diagonally. Hit your opponent with the tipper hitbox for extra damage and knockback!

UP SPECIAL: Flaming Slash
Bernard's sword catches aflame as his leg thrusters rocket him upwards. A reliable finishing move!

DOWN SPECIAL: Choice Counter
Bernard enters a defensive stance and will counter-attack anyone who strikes him.
Hold Up during the animation to send your opponent flying upwards for aerial follow-ups!

ULTRA: Thruster Flame Dash
Bernard races forward with his sword before turning around for a second lunge back the way he came.

SPECIAL MECHANICS
- Bernard has a Link-style tether grab! It has amazing range but only grabs grounded opponents.
- Down A, Forward air and Down air all have tipper hitboxes for extra damage!
- Side A and Backward air use Bernard's leg thrusters and push him along horizontally.
- Double jump deals minor damage with no hit-stun.
