Description
3RD JUNE 2023 CHANGES TO DIFFICULTY 3 AND 4, READ BELOW

This MES mod takes heavy inspiration from the vanilla "Never Surrender" scenario but with WF2 weapons and enemy drones that can fly on planets.
Unless one of the below chat commands is used no drones will spawn so this mod can be safely added to a new or existing world without issues.
Before using one of the below chat commands it is highly recommended to save and reload the world, especially for variants 1 and 2 as their waves may otherwise spawn out of order.

Difficulty Options (difficulty setting is in the MES-General-Config file for the save, 1 is the default)

1. Planetary (21 waves, 1-2 minutes between each wave)
2. Space (20 waves) (1-2 minutes between each wave)
3. Space (Endless) (5 randomly selected drones every 1 minute)
4. Planetary (Endless) (5 randomly selected drones every 1 minute)


/MES.SSCS.TXVE-Spawns-Enabled when in space will allow variant 2 to start once 5 minutes has passed after save/world
load.
/MES.SPCS.TXVE-Spawns-Enabled when on a planet will allow variant 1 to start once 5 minutes has passed after save/world load.

/MES.SSCS.TXVE-Spawns-Disabled when in space will prevent further spawns (will need to manually delete any remaining TXVE grids)
/MES.SPCS.TXVE-Spawns-Disabled when on a planet will prevent further spawns (will need to manually delete any remaining TXVE grids)

Reloading the save and using /MES.Debug.ClearUniqueEncounters chat command will reset to the start (this does not reset the "TXVE-Drones-Defeated" counter in the Endless variants.)

Final wave for variant 1 and 2 is the TXVE-Toa-Class-Multi-Role-Fighter.

DIFFICULTY 3 AND 4 SECTION

These now work slightly differently, the spawner grid is triggered by using /MES.SDE when the diificulty is set to 3 or 4.

Both Endless variants have a counter for how many enemy drones are disabled, can be found in the Sandbox.sbc of the save file (search for "TXVE-Drones-Defeated")

The "spawner" grid for the Endless variants is a static grid that is completely indestructible and uneditable, will need to manually delete it using admin (grid is called "TXVE-Drones-Enabled")

Is anyone else having an issue where drones explode immediately after spawning?

For whatever reason when I play this mod now it crashes my game everytime without fail, anyone else having this problem?

Does anyone know if there is any way to set this up as a trap by using a sensor block/timer and or programmable block?

kinda make a scenario where the player would go to a base, open a door where there's a treasure and an alarm would sound about reinforcement and have 21 waves coming in :steamhappy:

How big are the drones in this mod because the picture dosnt show mutch and i want a challange

You need to find the MES General Config, it should be inside the SE save file.
File path should be something like Appdata-Roaming-SpaceEngineers-Saves-SteamIDNumber-SaveName-Storage-ModularEncountersSystems. Then change the number inside the Difficulty tag at the bottom.
