Technology X Shipbuilding Systems finally presents

Selene MK2 – Heavy Multipurpose Frigate

LORE: The first Selene Class ships did well on the frontlines, but the war showed, that the lack of technology did the bad joke with first mod of Selene. After the Second War Conversation in september of 2545, Federal Warship Bureau (FWB) asked Technology X to modify Selene warship for new tactical requirements.
Main requirement was the installation of Gravity Drive, because the first Selene modification had some struggles to fight Gdrive ships.
The main concept work took one year, when the main construction of first prototype took two. War for this time has changed. Opponents achieved some new techs, built around ECM systems and spherical gravity drives, and if against Gdrive ships Selene was bad, against ECM Frigates Selene was useless. Under this oppression FWB created some new requirements, but the first prototype was already built and building new prototype might take TX two years more. Main constructors have decided to create a system, that supports standard Gdrive, but include spherical gravity shield to fight with ECM. MK2 modification did well in the tests, as well in later Earth battle.

Oppression Mode – Type “5” on a first toolbar to activate oppression mode, that destabilizes all ships gravity drive in 400m around the ship and deactivates Selene’s gravity drive. To get back to the strike mode with Gdrive, type “6” on the same toolbar.
