Apparently IGFT comes with its own _economic.txt file inside of (root)/common/ideas . I can make a new submod to fix it some day if I feel like doing it (I'll be honest: atm I don't, and I'm sorta busy).
The dirtiest & quickest fix that would probably work is to copy the text over for both NEP economic laws that are defined in the vanilla files and paste them into the same file in the IGFT assets (again, it's at (root)/common/ideas/_economic.txt ). Just paste them anywhere inside the economy braces like any of the other economy laws defined in this file and it should theoretically be okay from there.
(Also unrelated but thanks for making this patch mod, love IGFT c: )
