Description
Summary
This is the hud compass mod: by Zelious

I recreated this version for my server as i wanted a mixture of Direction and Degrees
rather than Dots or Degrees on the compass, and i thought i'm probably not the
only one that want the direction to have this mixture, so i decided to upload it to the
workshop for all to enjoy.

This mod does not work on Consoles.

Degree Mode
By popular demand, this mod now has a degree mode! You can enable it via the following chat command:

/Compass UseDeg [True/False]

A Clock???
This mod now features a clock! It is disabled by default and can be enabled with the following chat command:

/Compass ShowClock [24HourDateTime/12HourDateTime/24HourTime/12HourTime/Off]

This clock shows UTC time in space and both UTC and local time on planets, useful for knowing how much longer until you can actually see what you’re doing! XD

Don't Like It?
Forced to run this mod by a server you play on? Like to disable it? There's a command for that!

/Compass Enable [True/False]

Hey there Hypersniper1997, Ive just setup the Ancient Astronauts scenario with this mod and 1 or 2 MES mods and has been working fine for the past hour of play, this test was done on local PC, i haven't tried it on a DS yet.... (hope this helps you)

Does anyone know if this Version has the same incompatibility with Ancient Astronauts as the original?
HUD Compass has become a must-have for me in survival, but it causes crashes with Ancient Astronauts, which is the entire basis for my current Survival.

there are 2 mods that give you a block to build which shows you your orientation in space that are known to me.

though something for the hud would be something different cause you wouldnt need to build something, still we would need all 3 axis there too.

Hey there! Would there be any interest in using something similar to create a compass in space in relation to a true north or 0.0.0? I really have a need for something that does angles in space but there doesn't exist a mod or script that can show that sort of thing.

if found the solution and need to rip my head for beeing so dumb to not think about it earlier.
deleting the compassconfig.cfg didnt help so i thought thats caused by something different, till i found out that it gets recreatet with compassusedeg set to false, switching it over to true did solve the point instead of degree prob.

hopefully this can help if someone has the same prob in the future.

so just something going haywire and i need to bruteforce my way through it . . .

i had this problem with a mod or 2 once, i just removed the mod and done a few restarts then added the other version and repeated the restarting server a few times and it worked for my, the other time i was banging my head for hrs, but cant remember how i fixed the problem with that one :(

using it in a singleplayer world atm.
and yep i first removed the original, loaded the world, saved it, unloaded the world, restarted se, added the modified version to the world and then loaded the world again.
usually this way allows for a succesfull switch over to alternate versions of a mod.
