This mod just makes the cat invincible
You'll need to use his summon spell or the whistle from the Nine Lives gift bag to get him to follow you after escaping Fort Joy
Yup, it's a known bug
Pet pathfinding is just plain broken in Act 1, for some reason
This mod is safe to add/remove from an existing save, so you can disable it if the cat keeps misbehaving
This only happens in the caves underneath Fort Joy, strangely enough (it can happen in a purely vanilla game too)
However, I enabled the 9 Lives Gift Bag and there is no whistle. Dialogue options with the cat are stuck with no progressing dialogue. There are no mods touching the Black Cat.
Mod is in the lowest order right above your Best Sir Lora mod (which is at the bottom). Again, 9 Lives Gift Bag isn't working if enabled AFTER Best Black Cat Mod . That issue aside, it's a wonderful mod for what it promises.
Any advice on how to get the whistle, since it's locked after enabling it via Gift Bag?
It would be nice to share the pet love with another companion.
it should, but it won't affect the summon
