RENFE old coaches pack 2 (Ex-Norte)

The compañia de los caminos de hierro del norte de España, or just NORTE, was the largest company on Spain before the creation of the state company RENFE. Created on 1855, this company obtained the largest rolling stock before Renfe. This mod adds some of the coach models used by this company on its history.

This was the first series ordered by Norte for its first line, Madrid-Irun-Hendaye, with almost 300 units made, these early coaches remain in use untill mid-30s.

Made with metallic chassis and wooden boxes, these coaches were introduced for suburban services on the largest cities. They remain in use untill late 60s mainly on Bilbao and Valencia networks.

These 20m long coaches were introduced for suburban services, with large access platforms, and central doors. Introduced on early 1900s, mainly at Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao depots. After the creation of Renfe, these suburban coaches remain on Madrid and Barcelona services. They remained in use untill mid-70s.

On 1912, the Norte company ordered a new 3rd class coach for suburban services. These new coaches were a long 3 axis model with an Imperial, the imperial was a French term used for the second floor added to a traditional coach, usually with open sides. So that these coaches had a large capacity, but they werent allowed to reach high speeds. Those coaches were introduced on Bilbao services, but they were fastly moved to Barcelona and Valencia depots. On 1941, all the Imperial coaches that survived to war were transfered to RENFE. They remained on the Valencia-Nord depot, and they were used for their original porpuse untill late 60s. After being retired, Renfe decided to burn all the coaches, being that the end of this unique model on Spanish railways.

Norte steel coaches, ordered on late 20s for the Madrid-Bilbao-Hendaye line.This was the first coach model totally made from steel used by Norte. Delivered between 1928 and 1935, this model became the last model ordered by Norte before its integration on Renfe on 1941. On RENFE, the Norte AAS coaches were renamed as 1600 series and painted on the unified olive-green livery. They remain running on the Madrid-Bilbao line. On early 70s, all the 1600 series coaches were transformed into second class. Also they recieved UIC numbering and dark-green paint. They were in use untill late 80s.

All models has asset versions, also they include rust/dirt textures and 3 LODs.
