Snoqualmie Pass

Description
*The journey to the West is nearly ours! The only thing standing between us and infinite riches is the Cascade mountains. Luckily, our surveyors have spotted two possible paths for the railroad. We hear that business is booming up in Everett, so that will be our first route.*

Your first task is to connect up Spokane and Pasco to Everett to allow the railroad to run the first trains to the West coast. Whenever new tracks need to be built, they will be first used by a Track Builder train. The Kicking Horse Railroad requires a connection for interchange traffic.

*After a hundred years of service to the West coast via Everett, we no longer see fit to use it as our primary route. Freight traffic is down and the Kicking Horse Railroad only requires one short local per week. It is now time to build a new, higher speed, technologically advanced route via Snoqualmie to cross the Cascades. This will carry our new passenger trains as well as our high-priority freight trains. Get building, time is money!*

After the initial wave of trains through Everett, more and more trains will require the use of a faster route, specifically through Snoqualmie Pass. As with the first pass, track that is built will be followed shortly by a Track Builder train. As the times have changed, a new airport in Spokane has opened up, thus creating demand for a commuter route. This new route will run between Spokane and Skykomish and back.

Train symbols are a combination of a train type and origin/destination codes. The codes are listed below.

FL - Freight Local
C - Coal
G - Grain
KHRR - Kicking Horse Railroad

TA - Tacoma Grain Facility
KH - Kicking Horse
SN - Snoqualmie (Trains will use this code to indicate which route to take, not necessarily if the origin/destination is Snoqualmie)
SP - Spokane

Other nerd stats:
- 29 trains
- 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Max score of 920 (no penalties)
- Inventory ON
- x30 80 km/hr track
- x100 100km/hr track
- x6 semaphores

I have always seen the inventory as a way to tell a story. This map is no different. I highly encourage players to go along with the story of the map, as it will make the experience that much more enjoyable.

Now get out there! Have fun and happy dispatching!
