AAVP-7A1 Assault Amphibious Vehicle

Description:

The AAVP-7A1 is a fully tracked amphibious landing vehicle manufactured by U.S. Combat Systems (previously by United Defense, a former division of FMC Corporation).

The AAV-P7/A1 is the current amphibious troop transport of the United States Marine Corps. It is used by U.S. Marine Corps Amphibious Assault Battalions to land the surface assault elements of the landing force and their equipment in a single lift from assault shipping during amphibious operations to inland objectives and to conduct mechanized operations and related combat support in subsequent mechanized operations ashore. It is also operated by other forces. Marines call them "amtracs", a shortening of their original designation, "amphibious tractor".

Startup:

My design philosophy is that all my creations should be easy to start and control, with that said just jump into the Driver seat, hit the key ignition and throttle to max power.

This vehicle can be controlled by one player, or up to 3 players in total.

If you play alone, use the driver seat, the cannon is controlled by mouse look, and fire with spacebar, you can also launch smoke grenades with hotkey 3. The external lights are not automated as this is a combat vehicle, buttons to activate external lights are located by the driver seat.

If you have some friends, one can man the cannon, this will take the control of the driver seat and instead be used by the gunner, the gunner can zoom the camera, use flir, have a range locator and have 4 smoke grenades connected to the turret.

If you man the Commander seat, you get a seperate camera that you can look around with, FLIR and range locator. The commander seat can also launch the same smoke grenades as the driver can.

As i haven't done alot of tanks in this game, i used Jersey's superb tutorial as a base for this tank.
