Description
I have uploaded this mod to the Nexus and GitHub:

Modifies seminar prices to make them more expensive across-the-board. It also disables selling seminars to traders, due to the higher prices unbalancing seminar mission rewards. A sufficiently high faction reputation overrides this.

Intended to be used alongside my "Trader Seminars" mod, which makes them all purchasable at traders.

Save compatible.

Modifiziert die Seminarpreise, um sie durchgängig zu verteuern. Es verhindert auch den Verkauf von Seminaren an Händler, da die höheren Preise die Belohnungen für Seminarmissionen aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen. Eine ausreichend hohe Fraktionsreputation setzt dies außer Kraft.

Soll zusammen mit meinem "Händlerseminare"-Mod verwendet werden, der sie alle bei Händlern käuflich macht.

Kompatibel speichern.

i would use this mod if for the fact even at 5 stars the ai/piolite does not get a better(at flying) the are just allowed to do more things like how many sectors they can travel and such..so why would i want to pay more? for a 5 star dipshit as i constantly am yelling at them for being so dumb! ;p

From the game's 7.0 beta changelog:

- Improved balancing of seminar prices to match equivalent NPC hiring fees.

When playing on 7.0+, assuming my purchasable seminars mod remains relevant and I update it (if necessary), you might consider dropping this mod since it might no longer be relevant.

I think it takes some time for the shops to refresh etc. I don't know the details, but it should take effect eventually.

Hi, Does this require a new game? Just loaded a save and the seminars still have the old prices

Oh, you'll want to edit content.xml and change "ws_2774049353" to the same name as the directory you created under extensions.

You can also just edit the mod files from this workshop entry as well, though if I ever update this mod in the future Steam will clobber your local changes with the updated file(s).

JUst create a directory under x4's extensions directory (in the game dir, not in My Documents etc) and put the files there (ie, x4\extensions\WhateverNameYouLike\libraries\wares.xml)

If you open wares.xml the second half of it has an explanatory comment. Just remove the 'add' rows following that comment and the sell restriction will be gone. I don't know if it'll take immediate effect or not.

unghhh, it took me the entire day to get from 22 to 24.... I can buy capital ships at 20 but I have to be 30 to sell seminars? sorry it sounds like i'm complaining, I like the fact that leveling pilots isn't cheap and easy, but wish I could get rid of the excess and make some profitssss.

I'm not actually sure where the threshold is. I think it's either at or close to the cap, which I think is +30.

quick question, what is a sufficient reputation to sell? I am hero of the federation with argons at 22 rep. how much more do I need to sell my seminars?
