[ESS 1.4] Union Pacific EMD SD60

Description
EMD SD60
(steam wont allow me to upload images still)

Lore:

The battle between EMD and GE for the top of the market was now in it's climax. GE had introduced the widely successful Dash-7 series and EMD was struggling to keep up with GE's technology and power. The GP50/SD50 was a commercial disaster, not that it was a bad locomotive, but GE blew them out of the water in horsepower and technology. GE's financing and maintenance packages also beat EMD's bulk discounts. EMD began it's decline, but it was not going down without a fight. Using the newly developed 710 prime mover, EMD fit the SD50 with a new engine and new electrical systems. This new locomotive, although nearly identical in appearance to the 50's, was the EMD GP60/SD60. It was about 4% more efficient than the GP50/SD50, and had 300 more horsepower too. This locomotive also came equipped with a computer controlled ECU to compete with GE's New locomotives, the Dash-8 series. Despite their efforts, the SD60 did not secure EMD it's spot at the top of the market. GE had introduced a modular superstructure that set it apart from EMD, allowing it to be much easier to create different variants. GE's dash-8 series outsold the GP60 and SD60 series, and by the early 90's EMD was pretty much the loser of the battle. It did not help that GM was being destroyed in the automotive market by foreign automobiles. This meant EMD did not have proper funding. EMD still continues to create locomotives, and good ones at that, but GE took first place in sales, and holds that title to this day.

Features:

This Stormworks replica of a SD60 comes equipped with a 6 cylinder prime mover. The slave system is compatible with all of the EOS compatible locomotives. It has locomotive, rolling stock and dynamic brakes.

Operation:

Startup:
-All breakers must be on
-set engine to run using the panel next to the breaker box
-go to the starboard access panel, prime fuel, and start engine.

Operation:
-Once the locomotive is on, use the reverser to decide which direction the locomotive will travel
-use the throttle to accelerate the locomotive. (throttle will lock if the dynamic brakes are turned on)
-dynamic brakes are used for slowing down or maintaining speed down hills, as they do not wear out brake pads IRL. they serve little to no utility in game, but they are cool. In order to apply dynamic brakes, the throttle must be 0, then you can apply the dynamic brakes. you will not be able to throttle up until dynamic brakes are set to 0.
-the slave system is compatible with EOS standard slave systems. the reverser must be neutral in order to turn on the slave system. if the locomotive is facing the opposite direction of the master, set it to "invert direction".

anyway, I'm done with it now, how do you want me to get it back to you?

ok, I'm finished with what I wanted to do to the traction motors, the thing does pretty well at 195 mph. The problem is that I need to re-tune the modular engine. It can idle with, roughly, 8% throttle. The problem is that your 0-8 throttle has a range of 0.7, which means the throttle setting is capped at 78% and the output at about 780. (1:4 gearing into single large generator). I want this generator to be capable of roughly 1400 output. (1,200 is good enough). I really wish you had parameterized the number thingy, going to have to re-build that from scratch...

Nicely done, I would add something to keep the engine at iddling at low rps, great replica.
