✺ Vortex Laser Hand Weapons

Description
A full rework of Vanilla hand weapons, including 30+ custom particle effects, damage rebalance and operational reworking, gore effects on player shots, light ragdoll physics.

-- I had to do something to arm my players against the threat of suit-based AI Enabled so I took one of my originals and recooked it to be up to the challange--

All rifles and pistols are now laser variants and one of three colors, green, blue and red.
All rifles have 5 custom particle effects.
All pistols have 4 custom particle effects.
Rocket launchers have 5 custom particle effects each.

On hit, each laser has custom effect that trigger, showing a flash of colored light and a puff of smoke that is briefly colored also.

On hit, rockets and grenades do cool effects too.

When you hit a person or a bug you get a nice colored spray, different ones too depending on bug or person, including chunks, rag doll physics effect these particles.

All weapons do light rag doll effects to add a bit more fun to stuff.

This mod has two non-original, legacy blocks on loan, the Weapon rack and the Boarding ramp.
Permission to use these blocks was granted from the original mod author, Eike, to Serža and onto me.

This mod used the Scope Framework By Klime to provide overlays on the marksmen rifle and the Pro-1.

Normal ammo recipe, if you play on my server you spawn in with the ammo automatically every spawn.

how do you feed these guns like do you make the ammo from gravel or do they just pull from your suit?

As long as the AI are using vanilla weapons yes!
This mod replaces the vanilla guns, this is for long-term reliability to withstand any future code changes to the base game, also this means that many systems that are made to work with vanilla guns work with these, however, other mods that replace vanilla weapons will conflict with this mod!

Yeah I'm going to tone down the ship blasters a bit too, I've always found them a bit loud tbh, before this update the guns and the ships were the same loudness (on the same sounds theres not that many sounds like this lol).
I do want to do a more vanilla oriented pack like this, I am thinking about doing some stuff for antique war enactment but wont be for a few months I have a laundry list of stuff I am updating for SW.

Yeah, I keep the sound down because the vanilla engines would make me go deaf, but there are other packs that use these sound effects that I have to compare to.

Maybe I missed, but I don't recall other weapons using scope framework letting you zoom in and out on the scroll wheel. This could be cool to make available across the vanilla guns too in an alternative pack.

I have the sound cut for them really low so it sounds right on full volume.
Ill run it by a few people in the discord and do a check on the sound levels though, thank you for the report!

This zooming in and out function is great! I think the audio might be muted.
