I was bored so I made a level and wow surprise surprise I used a Max Payne 3 (available now on the Steam Store and Rockstar Games Launcher) as inspiration. Some of the floors may seem a little familiar if you have played Max Payne 3 by Rockstar Games. Although inspired, it is not an attempt at a 1:1 recreation. I took extreme creative liberties when making this level in order to make sure it played well in Hotline Miami first and felt reminiscent to Max Payne 3 second.

In the film Cop, Lloyd Hopkins, a hard-boiled American police detective is on the trail of a mass murderer who is victimizing women in Los Angeles. The pursuit leads him through a world that has become his own natural habitat - a nasty world of crime, drugs, prostitution and male hustlers where "innocence kills" and continued exposure corrupts. Paradoxically, it's also a world of love, secret admirers, romantic feminist poets and modern chivalry. And for the viewer, it's the background for an exciting, suspense movie.
