No, really. I've been testing my old mods to see which ones need updates and this still works perfectly. It will probably continue to work perfectly until something is fundamentally changed about how cultures are coded, which given that that's what 1.5 was for probably won't be happening for a long, long time.

Ah, mercenaries. Nothing quite like having some on-hand when you're in a pinch... *if someone else hadn't hired them already.*
This mod makes everyone have 10 times as many mercenaries.

Overwritten files:
00_ethos : I went for this one because I've not seen any mods messing with this file, which you'd only do to add new ethos. The change is that every ethos now gives +900% mercenaries, except bellicose giving +1400%.

The swords for hire tradition has also been overwritten to add +1000% mercenaries.

If you're wondering about why I chose 900%, 1400% and 1000% in each of their cases it's so that cultures still have just as many mercenaries proportional to one another. It probably won't matter cos there's usually plenty to go around, but if there's real fat stacks being thrown around then I guess it might do?

Recomended alongside Game Rules Core as it lets you control the mercenary hire costs to your liking.
