Hiva

City-State Trait: Naval Units and Embarked Units get +2 Movements whith the discovery of Celestial Navigation.

City-State Type: Militaristic

History:
Hiva is the name of a mythical land or island, from which the ancestors of the natives of Rapa Nui would have come, according to Easter Island mythology. Hiva would correspond to the mythical Hawaiki of Maori mythology, or its equivalent, and to the existing variants in the traditions of many Polynesian cultures. Several researchers believe that the mythical Hiva would correspond to the Marquesas Islands based on the anthropological, archaeological, biological and linguistic evidence that would relate Easter Island to the central of Polynesia and, in particular, with the Marquesas Islands. However, others believe that it would correspond to Rapa Iti. Easter Island tradition states that the ancients had predicted that a time would come when Hiva would sink. The sinking of Hiva and the journey of the ancient Rapanui in search of a new island, following the route of the stars, recently allowed a group of researchers to propose Rapa Iti Island as a candidate to be identified as Hiva. This prediction would have begun to come true in the time of Roroi A Tiki Hati, the fourth ariki, when his territory in Hiva, called Marae Renga, as well as his second residence, Marae Tohia, began to be flooded by the sea. Recent archaeological evidence allows us to propose that, around the year 1200, Hotu Matu'a and his people left Rapa Iti for Rapa Nui, where they originated the Rapanui culture that we know today. Oral traditions state that Hiva sank; however, there are reports that there were later voyages between Rapa Nui and Hiva, which would indicate that the collapse of the latter would have been partial. As a result, a high percentage of arable land would have been lost, which would have forced a part of its population to emigrate. Rapa Iti meets this condition, since the island's volcanic cone collapsed, creating the Ahurei Bay. In the following generations, canoes were built to escape from Hiva.

Compatible with Rise and Fall, Gathering Storm, NewFrontier.

Yes it is compatible with Leugi city-style, that is why the city-style is cool on the screenshot. Thanks for all your feedbacks.

Beautiful art choices. Do you need Luigi's City Styles pack or does each of your CS mods come with the art asset included/attached?

I mean Luigi's mod is INSANELY cool and worshipable, but it's a ton of art assets for us already running a lot of mods.
