Description
Moondog Rex wrestled for multiple NWA territories, the WWF, WCW, and SMW during a career that spanned from 1970 until 1997.

While often used as an enhancement talent in the WWF, he once held the WWF Tag Team titles with Moondog King and Moondog Spot in addition to winning tag titles across multiple smaller promotions.

In 1987, Rex was repackaged as Smash in the WWF's new Tag Team, Demolition. Fans recognized Rex and chanted "Moondog" during his matches, leading to the Smash gimmick being given instead to Barry Darsow.
