Hello everyone!

I wrote a little program for automatic recovery of corrupted save file or to transfer save file to another Steam account.

Recovery of corrupted save file:

Backup your save file(it is usually found in the path: C:\Users\%your_username%\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing\%your_steamid%\ER0000.sl2)
Launch the program ERSR.exe
Enter your Steam ID(name of the folder that contains your save file)
Select your save file for repair
Select the required save slots (by default, this is the first character slot)
Press Run
Don’t press any buttons on your keyboard or mouse to not interrupt the script
After process is completed, you can close the program and start the game.

To use your save file on a different steam account:

Follow instructions on top and in the program use desired Steam ID

One condition

Chance of recovery is not 100%, but I hope it will help someone.

My dumbass tryed to teleport to other location while standing on the moving elevator, game completely freezed, had to restart a pc. Save file got corrupted. This program actually restored it, was pleasantly surprised! Much appreciated!

after a corrupted save file of about 145 hours of gameplay into it, I'm SO glad this worked. THANKYOU

The game no longer gives me a "corrupted file" warning, but now it just crashes completely when I try to load the save. Anyone know a fix or some workaround I could try?

welp lost my 50 hour save file because of powerouttage, decided to play when power came back on and told me old file cant be recovered something like that and decided to click ok and was sent to main scree saying new game idk what to do anymore so much time I put to get where I was at I'm just done with this game

Thank you brother. 65 hour save. Following tutorials on a complete run all quests done. Power went out and save currupted. Your program saved me from this being deleted. Your amazing 👏

Are there any plans for a program like this for Nightreign? My Nightreign save got corrupted unfortunately

You have my UTMOST thanks, really. It might have not worked for my first corrupted save file, and when it happened with my new one, I was devastated... but I gave it a second try and it WORKED. Thanks once again for saving hours of my life. I should also start doing manual backups for the future...

Doesn't work for me. Game crashes now when clicking on load file or continue, instead of corrupt file notification.

the file no longer throws a "corrupted file" flag but the game just totally crashes when I attempt to load it - any work arounds for this or anything i could try?
