Dune Prowler APC

A well armored and decently maneuverable APC vehicle.

This craft is intended to serve as mechanized infantry and is meant to carry and support a squad (of up to 7 including the driver) while in a combat zone.

The vehicle is armed with only a single autocannon turret; this limits the vehicle's ideal combat engagements to be mainly against light armored targets and enemy infantry. To compensate for the lack of firepower, the craft boasts high defensive capabilities - being made of exclusively heavy armor which itself is multi-layered. Its small size and high maneuverability enhances the vehicle's defenses by being harder to hit by incoming fire.

These features allow the vehicle to be ideal in augmenting ground troops in their combat effectiveness, offering them a method of quickly moving through the battlefield while maintaining supporting fire.

To be as compact as it is, the craft was designed without a connector block. This is acceptable as the vehicle only needs to be connected to for charging its batteries (as it doesn't hold cargo nor hydrogen fuel); to do so, connect to the hinge heads on the side pistons with a separate mechanism.

Access to the driver's seat is done through the rear entrance.

As the print has subgrids, the vehicle cannot be printed directly through survival - although, as the subgrids themselves aren't too complicated, it is feasible to build the vehicle in a survival world.

The print is comprised of 864 blocks taking up 4659 PCU meaning it should be a light to moderate performance hit.
