ABOUT THE GAME

A cooperative board game of farming and friendship based on the Stardew Valley video game by Eric Barone.

Work together with your fellow farmers to save the Valley from the nefarious Joja Corporation! To do this, you'll need to farm, fish, friend and find all kinds of different resources to fulfill Grandpa's Goals and restore the Community Center. Collect all kinds of items, raise animals, and explore the Mine. Gain powerful upgrades and skills, and as the seasons pass, do your best to protect the magic of Stardew Valley!

COMPLEXITY OF THE GAME

It's really important to us that as a buyer you understand Stardew Valley: The Board Game is not a casual quick game. While it is easy to play once you know the rules, it's meant to be challenging. We wanted an experience with depth and replayability. If your game group or family prefers short playtimes (less than 45 minutes) with a small number of rules and components, this game might not be a good fit. Please check out the rulebook.

Hello! I noticed that one of the mining event cards had the mine event back on both sides. Is that an error?

OH I'm dumb. Literally the Item -card- discard pile. Disregard the previous post aside from the last line.

One question: for Linus' gift ability to take a random item from a discard pile, the only actual discard pile I can find is for the fish. Are there any other piles that I'm missing when discarding resources via the player mat? Or do those items get returned to their respective bags/deleted to reduce clutter? In the absence of other piles I suppose I should just add a literal trash bag and manually put the discards in for this one specific use case, but I'm lazy and wanted to check here first.

Regardless, love what you've done here! Excellent work.

@Dracarys you can select a different player color using TTS's own feature by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen and choosing "Change Color". I'll add the option to do that in the board itself in the next update.
