The inability to move around with WASD took some time to get used to, but patience rewards the player willing to take the time required to navigate every room! The point-and-click navigation is not just a nostalgic homage to MYST, but it delightfully changes the design and feel of every puzzle. There are no "key" objects to pick up and insert in other "keyhole" locations, and it made this room feel different than anything else on Escape Simulator. The puzzles themselves are creative and immersive, but I think there were too few context clues for figuring out the solutions to the gem room and the bedroom chest (I eventually figured out the latter, but just by button mashing haha). I still recommend this room, just hold out as long as you can and then utilize hints!

Don't know how this one went under the radar for me, but just came across it after seeing it mentioned in the Discord. Incredibly impressive atmosphere and level of detail. Feels entirely unique in it's mechanics compared to any other ES room, very Myst-esque in the best ways. Love how having a notepad next to you is a bit of a neccessity (at least for my brain). I admittedly haven't finished a single puzzle yet, but was so impressed design wise had to stop by and comment. Can't imagine the time you put into this one. Hope it continues to find a larger audience so everyone gets a chance to appreciate it. Really well done!

A very unappreciated gem of the community for maps. I used the guide to finish it, but I'm glad I did. Yes, it's a difficult map. But sometimes that's a good challenge to take on. It's well worth the effects and time trial to do it. Plus, the unique mechanic of point and click gives the room a fresh look how things operate. Definitely needs more exposure for how excellent this was.

I don't know what's going on, but this map maxes out my RΛM and makes the game crash. Do I just have too little? How much are you expected to have? Or is there a leak? Can a custom map introduce a memory leak?
I haven't had any other map do this.

Looks really nice but whyy point and click ? I'd really love to walk around there.

It looks like an impressive room and I really wanted to try it, but after 30 seconds of clicking and seeing that it is going to make the room take at least 10-20x longer than it otherwise would I just left. I understand the trying to make it feel like super old video games, but it does deter from even wanting to play the room.

Impressively done. This hearkens back to the old days of adventure/quest games where you can only move to certain locations. I always felt a little restricted by that. Not sure I'd ever have connected all the widely dispersed dots if it weren't for your hint guide. Perhaps I'm a bit slower than I used to be :) But still, well done:steamthumbsup::eskey:

A lot of work and attention to detail went into making this map and it shows.
