DDR V2 - Grenztruppen (1976-1982)

This pack depicts the Uniforms of the Grenztruppen from 1976-1981/2. While being synced with the NVA's uniform transition, the Grenztruppen would see itself become an independent branch of service, separate from that NVA in 1976. This establishment of the Grenztruppen as an independent organization came with the introduction of the iconic "Grenztruppen der DDR" cuff-title.

The Border Troops of East Germany (German: Grenztruppen der DDR), was the primary border security service of the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). Members of the Grenztruppen would be closely aligned with the ruling Socialist Unity Party, and would serve in various border postings, including the infamous Berlin Wall.

A Parade Uniform for all rank groups
A Field Uniform for all rank groups
