This is a pretty great map. Definitely a favourite. It's pretty difficult, but an absolute blast to figure out - especially the southern trains going towards and from the Hudson River Tunnels.
Fantastic work. Thanks!
1. The signals for the westernmost 11/12 crossover can and should both be used for NJT westbounds. This means two important things:
(a) You don't *have* to maintain right-hand running on the two ladder tracks: get an inbound and a westbound crossed over (westbounds to the west ladder track, eastbounds to the east) nice and early, as this will mean they will clear each other's paths nice and early.
(b) In a pinch, you can line two westbounds out until the crossover. This will, again, clear routes early and prevent your second departure just sitting at the platform exit signal sucking its thumb. Not that you should need that extra time given the schedule padding, but it looks cool and might clear a platform in the nick of time.
2. Go crazy aah, go stupid aah, line a signal somewhere else and then do some overriding to enable Amtrak/NJT sawbys
Balance between difficulty and fun.
Can you extend the schedule to 24 hours?
Thank you
