Hi! This is my Grumman XF5F, "SkyRocket".



About the Grumman XF5F:

The Grumman XF5F Skyrocket was a prototype twin-engined shipboard fighter interceptor.
The United States Navy ordered one prototype, model number G-34, from Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation on 30 June 1938; its designation was XF5F-1.
The aircraft had a unique appearance: The forward "nose" of the fuselage did not extend forward of the wing.

In 1938 Grumman presented a proposal to the U. S. Navy for a twin engine carrier based aircraft, unlike any other fighter aircraft that had ever been considered.



IMPORTANT:
1;
there are 2 engine switches witch automaticly start the engine, you dont need to turn it off. unless you want to stop the engine. If you want to taxi to the runway, you can use the collective (up/down). Its not handy but gets the job done.

2;
It is not 100% accurate. I made it by looking at images. I tried my best.

3;
Fuel doesn't last very long. It dies somewhere around the 5 minute mark.
