Description

Plays a (single, pickable) sound when a player messages (anything). Useful if you are alttabbed/multitasking.

Simplest ♥♥♥♥ ever but oh well, wasn't on the workshop yet. (atleast it wasn't when i looked a couple months ago)

Now has a cvar to change the sound, "chat_sound". Usage is explained in the thumbnail.
You can also put stuff in your GarrysMod\garrysmod\sound folder.

(IT'S CLIENTSIDE, BY THE WAY. THE MODIFIED CHATSOUND WILL ONLY APPLY FOR YOU.)
(ALSO HAS TO BE .WAV BY THE WAY.)

it would be great if it worked multiplayer so you could load and play any sound and everyone would hear it
