Description
Westland Whirlwind
The Westland Whirlwind was a license built version of the Sikorsky H19 Chickasaw that served with the Royal Navy and RAF search and rescue from 1953 before being replaced by more modern helicopters such as the Sea King. Over 400 were built and they served all over the world including as part of Ice Patrols in the 50s and 60s aboard HMS protector.

Features
  • 1:1 Recreation of a Historical aircraft with realistic interior.
  • Winch with two harnesses for solo operation.
  • Torpedo Capable
  • Capable of carrying and operating with a mag-all
  • Plentiful access panels for easy maintenance

Notes
  • If you want the other paint scheme the seats are the right blue and any of the yellows will do. Just replace the colours and don't forget the paintable signs.
  • Be careful with the altitude lock: it can be a bit temperamental if you're moving vertically rapidly.

Let me know any issues

Its to do with the way the altitude lock works, the auto hover helps and it should work fine if its set with a low vertical speed.

I've noticed that once alt hold is turned on and if the heli is in that hold position it will roll on its rights side and the only way to save it is to turn it off and have auto hover enabled is that just me or is there other ppl having that problem?
