Terra Aprilis

Terra Aprilis is a cute maritime country. Here, fishing enthusiasts will find all marine species. This peninsula surrounded by water is a mostly flat land, ideal for building a wonderful metropolis.
This territory is separated into two almost equal parts by a long and high mountain.
As a result, you can either build a single city located on either side of the mountain or two rival twin cities; each one having its own characteristics!!!

However, don't be scared!! The crossing of this high natural barrier is facilitated by a motorway network....how can I say this....by a very nice but atypical road network !!!

Inevitably, you will spend hours and hours contemplating the hypnotic beauty of these inevitable crossing points. Who doesn't love seeing cars and trucks going down or up winding mountain roads ?

You will start your city in the only tile located in the mountains. But, very quickly (after 400 inhabitants), you will have the right to buy a second territory, located on the plain, then a third after 1200 inhabitants. About this map:
This map was created between March 21 and March 31, 2022; so in 10 working days.
It is directly inspired by "the confusion of the driver" published by Dalizi on August 9, 2021 and reviewed by BonbonB, (the irreplaceable and tireless South British Youtuber), on March 19, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. London time (What map 1465).

As soon as I saw this video, I knew that my sacred duty, the predestined mission of my life, was to make a beautiful remake of the original map…

Despite the very limited working time, I have endeavored to make a work of the highest quality, however, without trying to make it the map of the year.

"Terra Aprilis" or "the land of April" is a map that deliberately includes some pranks. Indeed, in France (I am French) on the first day of this month, it is customary to play jokes on loved ones, for example to fill the company car of a colleague with a ton of paper confetti.
When the victim regretfully realizes that he has been trapped, the one who committed the joke happily shouts "Poisson d'Avril"...because another prank is to hang a fish (poisson = fish), often made of paper, behind the back of a person you want to make fun of.

Do I plan to publish an alternative version without these pranks?
Of course not !!! Because it's never the one who fills the car with confetti who cleans it, otherwise it wouldn't be funny!!!
