Omschrijving
This mod allows you to toggle automatic usage of your active item by holding the space bar or use button on a controller. Once auto use is enabled, the item will automatically be used as soon as it's fully charged. No longer will you have to remember to keep using Guppy's Head, Book of Sin or any other item, especially with 4.5 Volt.

Features:
  • Allows you to toggle automatic usage of active items;
  • Items in the second Schoolbag slot can be auto used as well;
  • Items with no charge bar, as well as those with a button hold mechanic (Breath of Life, Spin to Win) are accounted for;
  • Custom character support can be enabled through Mod Config Menu;
  • Co-op is tested and supported.

I think this could gain a feature in that with certain items, the auto-activate doesn't activate in empty rooms where the charges would be wasted.

Confirmed guppy's head works with judas on new update. Thanks!
Strange thing is I didn't need to turn off all checks.

Perhaps the pocket actives + mod might be involved?


Side note, would be nice being able to do the same feature for Q items, but I'm not sure how difficult that would be.

The strange thing was, it worked on Isaac's D6 on one of my other save files, but failed many times on my main save. I'll install the update and tell you if I have any issues

There was a bug that prevented saving/loading settings that I didn't notice, thanks for bringing this to my attention, it should be fixed now.

In regards to activation factors, there are only a couple of checks being done, and none of them should prevent you from doing what you were trying to do (even with default settings). I've added a new setting to ignore all checks anyway though, so feel free to try using it. Not sure why you're having issues with all characters though, it seems to be working fine for me, so perhaps try checking the console or making sure you don't have any conflicting mods installed.

The setting in the mod config resets every time the game starts.

If there's any other factor besides the mod just not activating, could you make sure any deactivation factor (like custom characters or items) can be toggled off?
I got guppy's head in the red redemption challenge and it didn't work there either, even though it's just a weird tainted Jacob.

Custom characters are disabled by default to prevent issues with custom items and game mechanics, but you can enable custom characters through the Mod Config Menu
