Welcome to Custom SIG .300 MCX!

This mod adds 2 variants of the SIG Sauer MCX rifle chambered in .300 AAC blackout as requested by the commissioner.

This mod was commissioned by 나나님 on my Modding discord[discord.gg].









- This mod is compatible with Combat Extended.



Q: Can the mod be added to existing saves?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the mod be removed from existing saves?
A: Is never a good practice to remove mods from ongoing saves. That said, this mod is quite simple and you should be able to fully remove it if you do it properly.

Q: Where do I craft these new weapons?
A: At the machining table or at the fabrication bench if they are tagged as spacer, charged or something of the sort.

Q: Why does the recipe for some of the weapons requires chemfuel/wood?
A: This may only be a CE thing but It is because most of this weapons have plastic, polymer or wooden parts and I like to reflect that in the crafting cost of the weapon.

Q: Are the weapons properly balanced? (Vanilla)
A: I try to balance my weapons as good as I can, however, if you see any number that sticks out too much please let me know in the comments or join my discord[discord.gg] and I'll try to adjust it. Have in mind that weapons marked with the "commissioned" red tag are usually balanced by the commissioner and not by me which makes changing the values a little bit more tricky.

Q: Are the weapons properly balanced? (CE)
A: Same stuff as in the previous question but this time around weapons should feel much more balance in general thanks to the ballistic system from CE and the rules it follows to balance weapons.

Q: How do I learn to craft these new weapons?
A: If you can't find the weapons in any of the vanilla research projects and you are sure is craftable a new research line which starts with the project called "Attachments and modifications" may contain the weapons you are looking for.

subsonic ammunition tends to not reach that far due to, well, being subsonic

5.56 ammo has an average range of 550 meters
300 blackout has an average range of 460 meters, as well as having nearly half the velocity

Well I launched the game w/o the dependency including loading my save, no problems but the lack of dependency also includes the 1.3 ver or no?

pushed the update again but cant do much else, may be rimpy but I'm using it without problems I dont get a dependency on my rimpy.

Try unsubbing until it dissapears from your list and then subbing again.

Yeah I got the update, RimPy does recognize it being an 1.4 mod. But it still saying that it's missing the dependency

Yeah RimPy says that it still relies on GunNut Core.
