Welcome to M1 Garand, Winchester 1894 and Colt 1862!

This mod adds 3 american firearms as requested by the commissioner.

This mod was commissioned by IgnisGlacies on my Modding discord[discord.gg].









- This mod is compatible with Combat Extended.



Q: Can the mod be added to existing saves?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the mod be removed from existing saves?
A: Is never a good practice to remove mods from ongoing saves. That said, this mod is quite simple and you should be able to fully remove it if you do it properly.

Q: Where do I craft these new weapons?
A: At the machining table or at the fabrication bench if they are tagged as spacer, charged or something of the sort.

Q: Why does the recipe for some of the weapons requires chemfuel/wood?
A: This may only be a CE thing but It is because most of this weapons have plastic, polymer or wooden parts and I like to reflect that in the crafting cost of the weapon.

Q: Are the weapons properly balanced? (Vanilla)
A: I try to balance my weapons as good as I can, however, if you see any number that sticks out too much please let me know in the comments or join my discord[discord.gg] and I'll try to adjust it. Have in mind that weapons marked with the "commissioned" red tag are usually balanced by the commissioner and not by me which makes changing the values a little bit more tricky.

Q: Are the weapons properly balanced? (CE)
A: Same stuff as in the previous question but this time around weapons should feel much more balance in general thanks to the ballistic system from CE and the rules it follows to balance weapons.

Q: How do I learn to craft these new weapons?
A: If you can't find the weapons in any of the vanilla research projects and you are sure is craftable a new research line which starts with the project called "Attachments and modifications" may contain the weapons you are looking for.

it seems the ce patch stopped working for 1.5? i just says its not patched ingame

i think you must have wanted tribals using the pistol? because its tagged tribal in xml.

For some reason, the Colt 1862 is under the Smithing section in the tech tree, allowing tribes to spawn with it along side of Pila's and Bows. I just found this odd and probably might need a modification. For context I am not using CE.

For some reason, the Colt 1862 and .44 Lead Ball ammo doesn't require any research to craft

Does the Garand look crooked in the game to anyone else? The game art for it looks like it droops down a bit. That might just be an illusion from the bayonet, but it's bothering me.

Colt 1862 (Snubnosed) isn't locked behind any research, meaning, tribals can assemble the gun. Is this intentional?

Leaving that aside, I just wanna say I love your gun mods. The textures walk the line between vanilla-friendly and detailed enough to please my gun fet... fascination. <3
