Description
Daemonic Diplomacy

  • Chaos factions are no longer automatically at war with all order factions
  • Enables the "peace" diplomacy option when at war with an order faction
  • Enables normal diplomacy between chaos and order factions
  • Enables trade for chaos factions
  • Adds trade goods to chaos trade resource buildings

Most non chaos factions have a -40 aversion toward chaos factions, they do not like or trust them, similar to skaven. It's possible to enter diplomatic agreements but you will have to work for it.

Chaos factions have a -100 aversion toward order factions, this means that chaos factions controlled by the AI are *very* likely to invade the order factions. Thematically I think it makes more sense for chaos to attack the order factions while they are dealing with internal squabbles rather than chaos defending against tides of order factions from turn 1.

It seems that normal diplomacy still doesn't work with actual Chaos factions. For example, Khorne declared war on me as Karaz-A-Karak and I was unable to enter diplomacy with them to sue for peace, or do any normal diplomacy. I guess CA just made it work with Warriors of Chaos maybe? I'm not sure. Any chance of you updating your mod for 2.0 given that some chaos factions still can't negotiate properly? (Also the trading aspect was a nice touch that is pretty much gone now)

@Rodster I don't know the answer but your best bet to find answers to questions about how to make something work in a mod is Da Modding Den discord server https://discord.gg/wZ9CmNH3yt - specifically either the #modding_chitchat channel or a post in the #mod_development board section.

Random question, I want to make money more valuable in terms for the AI accepting peace deals. Currently no amount of money allows for the AI to accept peace deals. What table(s) would I have to edit in order to make this possible?
