Description
More unit category icons to easily differentiate shielded / no shield, different weapons variant (fire, poison, magical), and also new icons to differentiate specific units.
Part of SWO-RD, standalone module.

DOCUMENTATION
The documentation of all the mods part of SWO-RD is available here as a PDF document[drive.google.com].

The experience icons have been moved to the top left, so they don’t hide the icon below.

The icon at the bottom (center) gives the unit category, as in vanilla game. SWO-RD however includes many new icons for more difference between units.

The colour of the icon varies with the quality of the units, to help differentiate between the different levels of similar units.

There are different icons for units with, or without shields. The shield/Weapons icons also vary with the race.

A coloured halo identifies special weapon attacks.

And special units have new icons.

In Vanilla, it is hard to see the difference between the Peasant bowmen, the Jade Warrior Crossbowmen with or without shield, or the Dragon Guards Crossbowmen. They all have the same icons. Same for the Jade Warrior Halberdiers or Dragon Guards, etc.

With SWO-RD, identifying chaff, regular or elite units is easier. Units with shields are easier to identify.
And special attack units are also easier to identify.

It is even worse when seeing the map from the top.

I mod for free and will always keep it this way. But an extensive mod means hundreds of hours spent modding! If you want to show your appreciation, a small donation is always welcome.

Both mod edit the same tables, a compatibility patch is probably required

I have just tested it with sfo. And the mod is not integrated unless you have to activate it separately in sfo. But I don't know that.
As soon as I start a battle with the vampires, it crashes. It works without your mod. Hopefully the problem will be fixed. Because the game is just not good without SFO and your mod. Have a nice day

oh thanks. That makes me happy. Thanks for the quick reply. I find this little mod makes the battles so much more enjoyable. Small donation for you.

Updated for 6.0.
I've kept my system for Lord, with specific red icons with white halo, instead of having the same icon for all as CA did.
